[GCC-XML] /MD switch in msvc71. Any MFC patch?

Hi Roman,

I took a look at the mingw and made a very small research about it.
Although, I am not familiar with that but it seems they have ported
only the standard windows includes without MFC.
I just started to patch MFC for my purpose(=with my (msvc) switches
taking care only the integrity of the skeleton). I want to make pyste work,
I don't need MFC functionality. During this work I found the real porting
quite difficult since there are plenty of M$-specific things there(eg.
__try-__except, __uuidof, etc.). At first sight, it didn't seem too easy to
me...
Anyway, that would be greate to make your idea work!

Laszlo

A few days ago I had some idea. I did not checked it yet, but I think
it should work.
The idea is simple: open source community already ported all windows headers
to be compiled with gcc. This environment called - mingw. I think
GCC_XML can take
all header files from this environment and to use them.

What do you think?

Roman
